I've always been the girl with the camera. I’ve loved interpreting my journey thru my lens for as long as I can remember.
I'm a mom, a teacher, and a photographer. My whole world revolves around two beautiful little boys who share my love of photography. My youngest is my favorite model, and my oldest is my assistant. As a photographer, I love making people smile. I feel honored others trust me to capture the fleeting moments that make up our lives, and I feel humbled each time I deliver images to an enthusiastic client.
In the moment, when I photograph, my main focus is creating a trust and an ease between my subject and myself. The rest of the time, I focus on detail, placing emphasis on gesture and mood, light direction and background. I love meeting new people, capturing the perfect moment and making memories my clients can cherish forever.
I graduated from Texas A&M- Commerce in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Photography and currently teach photography at a local private school.
But, once upon a time... I was an inquisitive little girl with a Polaroid 600, back in 1980 something. All these years later, when I pick up my camera, I’m that wide-eyed girl again. When all the rules and formulas fade into the background- the magic happens.
